Welcome to the Leeds Elementary PTO! Perhaps you've heard about our group through various fundraising activities or the supplies and programs we financially support at school. Providing these extras is important to us, but our work goes beyond raising money.
Our key mission is to promote an environment at school where our children can do their best learning, teachers and administrators can do their best work and parents can feel involved in their child's education. We're always eager to find more great people, like you, to help us meet this goal.
We don't expect a huge time commitment from volunteers. An hour can be a big help to our group and the school, and we have positions and tasks to fit all schedules and interests. Just let us know whether a program, event, or activity interests you and when you might be free to help.
Our Mission
The Leeds Elementary PTO is a non-profit parent – teacher organization whose membership includes all parents, guardians & staff at Leeds Elementary School.
Our Mission is to provide tools and means necessary to promote a solid, well-rounded education for the children in our community in a manner that is fun, inviting and values the diversity of the entire school population.
The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in the classroom setting, raises funds for supplemental educational materials and expenses, supports respectful school and family social interaction, provides effective communication between staff and parents, & provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.
It our belief that the team effort of a parent – teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.
